Meet our horses
Not every good horse is an Abilities Ranch horse.
Our horses need the temperament, physical ability, patience, training, and trustworthiness necessary to safely work with our participants and volunteers.
They may receive direction from a rider while simultaneously being guided by a volunteer. They need to remain calm through unexpected movements, sounds, changes in balance, and different forms of communication.
We ask a lot from our horses, and because we ask so much from them, we believe they deserve exceptional care.
